Bear Hug Cattle Company is a 501c3 non-profit that provides vocational training to veterans pursuing a career in the ranching industry. Our goal at Bear Hug Cattle Company is to provide veterans with the opportunity and skill necessary to get their first job in the ranching industry. This program is free of cost to veterans - all donations go directly to sponsoring participants.
WHAT WE DO
Providing veterans with the resources and knowledge to be successful in the ranching industry. Veterans go through a 10 week course: spending 4 weeks learning industry fundamentals, then 6 weeks learning on the job training at some of the most iconic ranches in the west. After the 10 weeks course, BHCC helps veterans find the right jobs within the industry.
FUNDAMENTALS
Teaching veterans the foundations of horsemanship and cattle work. Basic health care through riding, no experience necessary.
